BioGaia Philippines participated in the UP College of Dentistry (UPCD) International Oral Health Summit, held 5–6 February 2025 at the Maynila Ballroom of The Manila Hotel. The summit marked UPCD’s 110th anniversary and attracted hundreds of clinicians, lecturers, professors, and dental students from across the country.
Throughout the two-day meeting, dentists, faculty members, and UPCD students visited the BioGaia booth to learn about Prodentis® lozenges and taste the sugar-free mint formulation backed by Limosilactobacillus reuteri research. Many visitors purchased Prodentis on the spot for immediate use in their practices and ongoing studies.
The keen response confirmed a growing professional interest in probiotic solutions. As more oral-health experts recognise the role of beneficial bacteria in controlling pathogenic biofilm and supporting gingival healing, probiotics are poised to become an innovative tool in future dental care.
BioGaia Philippines thanks UPCD for the opportunity to contribute to this milestone event and remains committed to advancing evidence-based probiotic therapies for Filipino patients.
